Having spent the last 30 years juggling work within the creative services industry in the UK and painting professionally for the last 20 years, Neil has enjoyed the patronage of private collectors and commissions from corporate clients.

Using different media in his early career, he has over the last 20 years concentrated on using oils as his primary medium, giving him the flexibility to produce small and large scale paintings at will from his studio near Chester. There are three main passions for his subject matter, the ever changing seas and landscapes, the human figure and portraiture, these subjects have brought him to the attention of international corporates with large scale paintings being produced for companies in New Mexico, Texas, The Netherlands, Germany and the UK.

Private collectors fall into two categories those who appreciate the figurative paintings and those who like the tempestuous love affair he has with the sea and natural landscape. Having exhibited in 2007 at the world renowned Lowry at Salford in an environmental arts exhibition, Neil gained many new collectors of his work in the UK and internationally.
